The word "Globalization" means that the world has become a single marchetplace,
and you can buy and sell products from all over the world. Globalization is possible
thanks to agreements between countries and the creation of free trade areas.
Globalization is the result of:

• Deregulation, which is the removal of regulations and barriers.

• improved communication, such as transport and technology.

In globalization there are WTO,IMF and World Bank.
WTO is an acronim(World Trade Organization), is a permanent institution within the
United Nations concerned with promothing international trade and economic development,
especially by reducing restrictions on trade.Its headquarters is in Geneva(Switzerland).
IMFis an acronim(International Monetary Fund), is a United Nations specialized agency
dealing with financial matters. Encourage world trade and economic growth by liberaling
economic policies, provide members with financial advice assistance.
Its headquarters is in Washington D.C.
The World Bank is another United Nations specialized agency, based in Washingtond D.C.,
whose main aim is to fight poverty by providing financial and technical assistance for poorer
countries around the world.
There are Pros and Cons in globalization.
The Pros are: the relationship between countries, the development of poor countries,
the reduction of poverty and a good distribution of resources.
The Cons are: no real benefit to poor countries( it only favours big companies) and
multinational industries invest and exploit devoloping countries.

The leading players in globalization include:

• business companies in general move their goods, services, money and skilled labour globally

• global capital markets

• migrants

• consumers and tourists who increasingly buy foreing products and visit forein countries

• mass media extended their influence on all aspects of social and economic life
